Bird hunting is in and the birds are falling out of the sky.
Here's a quick and simple recipe for Pheasant.
 

Ingredients:

1~ Pheasant (cut up anyway you like)

1/4 cup~ Vinegar or Lemon Juice (your preference)

1 package~ Dry Onion Soup Mix

1 cup~ Rice (uncooked)

1 can~ Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 can~ Milk

1 can~ French Fried Onion Rings

Instructions:

Preheat over at 350 degrees. First, you simmer the pheasant in water with vinegar or lemon juice. This will help to tenderize the bird. Take a casserole dish and butter it. Then lightly and evenly sprinkle the dry soup mix. Then take the uncooked rice and sprinkle that over the onion mix. Now add the cooked Pheasant that you cut up. In a bowl mix a can of cream of mushroom soup and a can of milk until it is smooth. Pour the mixture over the pheasant.

Cover with aluminum foil and put in preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from oven and now sprinkle the French fried onion rings over the pheasant and put back into over for another 15 minutes.
