Spring has arrived and Trout season is coming in with the tide. Saturday, April 7th kicks off trout season. I thought that the best recipe for April would be a trout recipe. It is short and simple. So throw those lines in the water and start catching those trout. This was given to me by a dear fishing pal in Pennsylvania. ![]() Preheat the oven to 350 degrees or turn on the grill to medium heat Ingredients: Trout Mrs. Dash Lemon juice Butter Pepper Salt Aluminum foil (use if grilling on BBQ) Olive Oil (to coat pan if baking in oven) ? Directions for grilling: Clean and trim the trout by scraping most of the scales off the skin and leave the skin on. Lay out the trout on a piece of aluminum foil, then sprinkle with Mrs. Dash, Salt, and Pepper all over the trout. Then put a pat of butter on the inside of the gut cavity.?Close the non-stick aluminum foil and place it in the grill. Check the trout after about 15 or 20 minutes. They should be left on until the skin will lift easily off the fish & the meat is flaky. Directions for oven:
